West Fargo is a city that is in Cass County in the state of North Dakota. West Fargo is considered the fifth largest city in the state and is one of the fastest growing cities in the country. It populates more than 31,770 and it's a part of the Fargo Moorhead North Dakota-Minnesota metro area. As the population continues to grow there are more schools being developed along with more health facilities along with an increase of West Fargo real estate.
The West Acres Regional Shopping Center is flourished with department stores including Sears and Macys, boutiques and distinctive dining and is close to West Fargo real estate. The Fargo Moorhead Convention is a vibrant shopping district for resident and visitors alike to find what they are looking for from clothing to furniture to flowers to antiques. at such shops as Herbergers, TJ Maxx, Gordmans, and Mills Fleet Farm. In West Fargo there are quite a few parks to visit. The West Fargo Park District includes 30 parks that allows visitors to get plenty of recreation. Explore the Arbor woods, play basketball on a basketball court and baseball on a field at the Eagle Run Park and Burlington Park to name a few. With ice skating rinks and snow during the winter everyone can go ice skating and cross country skiing. During the warmer months there are volleyball courts to play at and hiking to explore the grounds along with biking trails at any time of the year. Kids get to have a playground or two to have fun at. At the West Fargo Competitive Soccer Club kids can learn how to play soccer and eventually compete in tournaments.
There are plenty of assisted living facilities, retirement homes and even apartments for the elderly to reside in an independent senior community. The unemployment is rather low at 2.4 percent despite ranking as a highly populated city. The median price for a house is 96,600 and continues to up the more businesses move in and the more West Fargo real estate that needs to be developed.
With a highly educated population, there are about two preschools, 10 elementary schools and three high schools available for residents of West Fargo. There are even more universities and community colleges to pick from including the Rasmussen College-Fargo Campus, University of Mary Fargo Center, North Dakota State University and Fargo Moorhead Minnesota State University Moorhead. There are several children's hospitals and more than five main hospitals available for residents and visitors. An emergency clinic is open to the public and there are medical centers, clinics and health centers that make living in West Fargo easy to get the assistance needed physically and mentally for an overall well being.
The average commuting time is 18 minutes. With plenty of public transportation available for residents of West Fargo at their fingertips it is easy to get from home to work to school and to outside events. The Fargo Moorhead Metro Area Transit and the MATBUS Transit along with other bus services is provided along with limo services to and from the airport. The Fargo school district provides its students bus rides to and from school. Living in West Fargo real estate provides many benefits alongside the availability of public transportation for those who choose not to take their vehicle around town.
